Being a local of the area Salman has first hand experience of the atmosphere and understands Mother Nature more closely. Since childhood he played and groomed between these mountains and that's why these mountains became source of inspiration for him and he decided to join the art world to show the whole world the beauty of this valley.
He captured the rare moments in life and his love for nature with painterly compositions and through understanding of colours, lights and shadows he created beautiful landscapes having mountains. Deeply inspired by the bright and radiant mountains he mainly focused on mountains in his current series of paintings.
The physical environment plays a great role in developing human character. These snow-cap mountains play a vital role in both physical and spiritual grooming of the people living in its valley. One achieves purity of mind and soul while living there and inhaling pure air create positive energy and positive attitudes among people.
He revealed the mystique of mountains through his paintings. He depicted how in different seasons in the whole year these mountains change colour and look and attract people not only locals but from abroad.
He portrayed golden mountains as the sunlight reflected from the peaks the mountains look golden just like gold while when the sun sets white peaks touching the clouds look just like fairy tales. Sometimes hazy and blended composition showed mountains wrapped in mist. One sees changes in mountains with atmosphere and the change from day to night and the year's seasons. These mountains created a catharsis that resulted in strong yet subtle imagery.
The joy of the art of Salman was that he shared his profound and philosophical understanding of life through his work. He expressed his emotions, through mountains landscapes which he rendered on his canvases. These mountain landscapes were serene and poised as he took inspiration from a direct observation of nature.
The paintings invited a mood of pure contemplation in the viewers as they go through the works of aesthetic beauty. The paintings were a result of long and attentive observations of mountains and thus showed the love for nature and specially the mountains by the artist.
